Lincoln - DEL WEBB Enhances Amenities in Response to Lifestyle Trends

Sun City Lincoln Hills(Lincoln, CA) Del Webb, the nation's leading builder of active adult communities, has continued to identify the trends in lifestyle amenities and is offering the latest at Sun City Lincoln Hills.
The innovative concept of providing a destination restaurant, along with a full catering staff, is unique among developers. "Del Webb is known for listening to its buyers and found a desire for an upscale restaurant in the community," said Vice President and General Manager Igor Noriega. "Meridians was designed to accommodate residents as well as the public in the spacious restaurant which takes full advantage of the panoramic views of the golf course with its spectacular water features," he added.

Meridians Restaurant is open daily to the public, along with a sports bar, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a varied menu focusing on California cuisine and specialty buffets. Guests can dine in the main room or on the terrace overlooking the18th green of The Lincoln Hills Club, which features Concierge golf and is also open to residents and the public. Live entertainment is offered in the restaurant Wednesday through Sunday, and Monday night football is becoming a social tradition in the sports bar.

The professional restaurant staff employs 68, including Nabil Mustafa, former general manager of The Slocum House, who is Meridians' Food and Beverage Director. Stephanie Curtan, formerly with Occasions Event Consultants, will head catering and special events. All proceeds from the restaurant and catering are realized by the Sun City Lincoln Hills Homeowners Association which is managed jointly by a board of directors consisting of Del Webb and resident members.

Currently more than 1500 residents call Lincoln Hills home and nearly half are from the Bay Area where escalating prices allow seniors an opportunity to reap great equities when selling their home.
Del Webb has also added two new model homes that are also continuing to reflect the desire of buyers who want more choices in size and design. Now buyers have 19 floorplans ranging from 901 sq.ft. to 3025 sq.ft. from which to choose. The Tiburon is new with 2503 sq. ft. and a master suite measuring 15x21 feet, along with the 3025 sq. ft. Carmel model. Both include corian counters in the kitchen with an island and breakfast nook, den, rear covered patio and spacious laundry room.

Lincoln Hills homes range from the $160,000's to $380,000's and are all single level floorplans with a wide variety of options available in the design center located at the sales pavilion open daily 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

The newly inaugurated Del Webb Field is also a result of providing Sun City residents the latest in trends. Seniors enjoy staying active, and at Lincoln Hills have an opportunity to play on a regulation senior softball field complete with electronic scoreboard and stadium seating. A new $5 million sports plaza features lighted tennis courts, bocce, volleyball, basketball, a grandparents tot lot plus a covered picnic pavilion.
Currently under construction is a fishing pond and additional walking trails which are part of the 600 acres of open space dedicated to preserving the wetlands and Indian artifacts that dot the community.
